A transition is a programme carried out in cooperation between the client and Cegeka. This programme is more than just a technical change; it is also an organisational change, with consequences for processes, procedures, roles and responsibilities.

Ownership and flexibility are the key words in Cegeka’s approach to transition. Cegeka has carried out very successful transition projects with its clients in recent years. Our motto is always ‘to stick to the agreement’.
Cegeka transition properties
Successful transitions always have the following properties:

best practices and methodology with enough room for pragmatism and a no-nonsense approach;

a programme process, with a series of clearly formulated projects and owners within the programme;

Transition = transfer and transformation
For Cegeka, the transition consists of a transfer and a transformation phase. The transfer organises the changeover to the new service provider and monitors continuity and composure in the operation. The transformation phase is often used to arrange the management of the organisation in such a way that Cegeka lays a sound foundation for the work in accordance with the agreed (new) techniques and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Unburdening
Cegeka wants to unburden the ICT organisation and end-users, and minimise confrontation with changes that impact on their way of working, from day one. Attention and time for the users is an important point for attention in the approach.
